First published in 1992 and known as "Green Book of Rural Area", Analysis and Forecast on China’s Rural Economy is an annual research report compiled by RDI together with the Department of Rural Socio-Economic Survey of National Bureau of Statistics. Characterized by annual analysis and forecast of the rural economy, the Green Book provides an objective assessment of agricultural and rural economic operation and market in the previous year and looks ahead to agricultural and rural economic situation and development trend of the current year. It also includes special studies on major and hot issues according to the state and social needs, which offers an important reference to China's research, policy-making and practice on agriculture and rural economy.
